SurfPrep's 3" X 4" Electric Ray is power packed with 3 speeds (4,000, 7,000 & 9,000 RPM). It's brushless outer-runner motor is constructed with bigger magnets, providing greater torque which saves energy compared to inner-runner motors. The tool's computer board is completely protected with a patented rubberized seal preventing environmental contamination. Patented spindle bearing fan enhances life by keeping motor & bearings at a lower temperature. Electric Ray Sanders have significant energy cost savings compared to pneumatic sanders as well as two override protection programs to enhance the life of the tool.

Notice: The SurfPrep Sanding System is designed to work as a complete system whereby SurfPrep branded sanders connect to and operate with SurfPrep branded dust extractors. Customers have successfully connected SurfPrep sanders to other brands of dust extractors without incident of static electricity and maintain full functionality of auto on/off features. SurfPrep sanders can easily connect to DIY STYLED vacuums with parts we provide. However, in these cases SurfPrep DOES NOT guarantee freedom from static electric shock. Often this occurs when lower priced DIY vacuums do not have the appropriate grounding components to prevent static shock. SurfPrep fabricates all sanders & dust extractors with static conductive components.
