It normally takes around 3 – 4 hours to refinish a standard tub. And around 5-6 hours for a standard fiberglass tub/shower unit. Repairs can add some time to this process, anywhere from a few minutes to a couple hours. For countertops typically 1 day. Cabinets typically take 5 days.
All of our coatings can last a good 10-15 years with proper care, sometimes even longer. The determining factor is how you care for it. If the refinished surface will take abuse, the time frame goes down, if it is cared for properly the timeframe can go up. The finish we apply can last just as long as the finish on a brand new tub, tile, countertop, floor, ect. It all just depends on you.

A newly refinished tub, sink, or tile will look and feel like new. Most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a new tub and a refinished one. Countertops and flooring will depend on what product you decide to go with. Some are textured, some are smooth and shiny. Cabinets will have a factory finish.
No. We apply our products with a professional HVLP spray gun which gives your tub or fixture a high gloss finish. No brush strokes. Majority of our customers are completely satisfied with how their refinished surface comes out. Minor imperfections can happen, such as dust settling on the surface, (which normally wears away over time) or for large walls a slight “orange peel” look. We do our best to prevent this from happening, but with the thickness of our coating it is virtually impossible to have a flawless “glass like” finish. We can guarantee no drips or runs, if for some reason there is a run we will come back to remove it. Any finish can be made flawless, but will require extra time. The price we quote is for a level of finish that majority of our customers are completely satisfied with.
Our standard process allows customers to shower in 24 hours. A 4 hour cure is available upon request.
For a multispec finish for countertops we can offer the same 4 hour dry time option as for bathtubs since it is the same type of protective topcoat.
Yes, we typically strip the old finish first so that we can properly apply our finish.
We normally offer a standard white, but if you want something different we can have colors custom ordered.
